Meet Mary
Neuroqueer: an identity that exists at the intersection of queerness and neurodivergence.
I’ve been a practicing mental health therapist since 2017. My career took me from Eliot Human Community Services in Lynn, Massachusetts to the private practice I run today.
My work in neuroqueer therapy originated as an area of concentrated study when I was in graduate school. As I began practicing therapy in the wider world, I quickly became a go-to resource for questions regarding gender identity, autism, ADHD, and trauma in other therapists’ patients. I had gone from student to expert. It was time to focus my professional energy where it would help my clients the most.
Now I run my practice with neuroqueer clients in mind. Rather than trying to change what makes you unique, I celebrate your authenticity. You are already beautiful. In therapy, we will work together on the trauma that brought you to therapy and learn strategies for overcoming the obstacles you face.
I’m ready to meet you.
